Repair makes sense when
The door panels and track are sound and the problem is a spring, cable, roller, hinge, sensor or opener component. These repairs are quick and cost a fraction of a new door.
A garage door that is stuck, crooked, noisy or slamming shut is more than an inconvenience. It is the biggest moving object on your home. C&K Garage Doors diagnoses the real problem, explains your options and fixes it right.
Most garage door failures come down to a handful of worn parts: springs that have reached the end of their cycle life, frayed cables, cracked rollers, bent track or a damaged panel. Our technicians see these problems every day across Puyallup, Spanaway, Tacoma and the surrounding Pierce County communities, and we arrive with the common replacement parts on the truck so most repairs are finished in one visit.
We are a family-owned company, and we do business the old-fashioned way. We tell you what is actually wrong, what it will cost to fix, and whether a repair or a replacement makes better sense for your door and your budget. If a part is fine, we leave it alone.

We inspect the springs, cables, rollers, track, hardware and opener, then explain what we found and what it costs.
Common parts ride on the truck. We replace what is worn and leave sound parts alone.
Every repair ends with a balance check, opener force test and photo-eye test so the door is safe to use.
The door panels and track are sound and the problem is a spring, cable, roller, hinge, sensor or opener component. These repairs are quick and cost a fraction of a new door.
Panels are rotted, badly dented or no longer made, the door lacks modern safety features, or repeated repairs are adding up. We will show you the numbers either way.
If your door needs a spring, you get a spring. We recommend replacement only when it genuinely saves you money or solves a safety problem.

Often, yes. Common springs, cables and rollers are stocked on the truck. Call 253-353-4116 for current availability in your area.
A broken spring is the most likely cause. The springs do the lifting; the opener only guides the door. Do not keep running the opener, which can damage it, and do not try to lift a large door by hand.
A lift cable has usually come off its drum or snapped, or a roller has left the track. Leave the door where it is and call. Forcing it can bend the track or panels.
We service most major residential and commercial door brands, including steel, wood, aluminum and full-view glass doors.
